The package included flights to and from Teneriffe to pick up the ship. I found cruising a great introduction to new places. My husband had won a sales incentive, and we went for seven days in the Caribbean. I enjoyed it well enough, with the possible exception of the folks constantly taking my picture and wanting us to buy those over-priced souvenir drinks. But hey, it was a cruise, it was free and it was fun. We loved it and want to cruise again and again. Our next goal is to Alaska. I tell you one thing we really liked that we didn't expect to like was the assigned dining partners. We were assigned to dine with two couples who were teachers! So we all had a lot to talk about! The cruise lines must know what they are doing when they assign people to dine together!
